anoder phrase

the phrase comes from a poem X published by Y.within a month of its publocation in new york, henry labouchere published a parody of it in london, inserting ,'' tis useless to be mild" to rhyme with the original line "half devil half child".it first appeared in mcclure's magazine in february 1989.subtitled "the united sates and the phillipine islands" it speaks of the "savage wars of peace" and exhorts readers to "fill full mouth of famine/and bid the sickness ease".
